Kate Ricks

Kate Ricks is a Financial Adviser based near Bath, working with clients across Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. She also meets clients at Mather & Murray Financial’s office in Cricklade.

Kate advises on pensions, investments and retirement planning, helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions about their financial future. She can also provide mortgage and equity release advice, allowing her to support clients across a broad range of financial needs and different stages of life.

Her approach is personal and relationship-focused. Kate enjoys taking the time to get to know her clients, understand what matters to them and create advice around their individual circumstances and goals.

She believes that good financial planning is built over time rather than through a single conversation.  By developing lasting relationships, Kate can help clients review their plans as their lives evolve, whether they are building their savings, preparing for retirement, moving home or considering their options in later life.

Kate aims to make financial decisions feel clear and manageable, explaining the available choices in straightforward language and helping clients move forward with confidence.

Outside work, Kate has a busy family life in a house full of children and pets. Her children are all involved in musical theatre, so she spends plenty of time travelling between rehearsals, auditions and performances.

When she has the opportunity to relax, Kate enjoys gardening, reading and playing the piano. She is often accompanied by the family’s elderly dog, who is almost always by her side and occasionally provides gentle background snoring during online meetings.
