Sue Allden
Customer Support Adviser
Sue Allden has more than eight years’ experience supporting Mather & Murray Financial’s team of advisers and helping new clients begin their financial planning journey.
Working within the new business team, Sue is often a client’s first point of contact. She enjoys speaking with people, understanding what has prompted them to get in touch and making sure they are connected with the most appropriate adviser for their needs.
Sue knows that contacting a financial advice firm for the first time can sometimes feel unfamiliar or daunting. Her aim is to make the initial process feel simple, friendly and reassuring.
Whether she is answering an early question, explaining what happens next or arranging an appointment with one of the firm’s advisers, Sue takes care to ensure each client feels listened to and comfortable from the outset.
She is passionate about creating a positive first impression and takes pride in helping people feel that they have come to the right place. Her friendly, organised approach helps clients move forward with a clear understanding of the next steps and confidence that they will be supported by an experienced team.
“I want every new client to feel welcome and reassured from their very first conversation with us. My role is to listen, make things straightforward and help them take that first step with confidence.”
Outside work, Sue enjoys spending time with family and friends, whether she is cooking, going out for a meal or catching up over a glass of wine at the local pub.
She is also a keen charity-shop treasure hunter and enjoys the excitement of discovering an unexpected hidden gem. When she is not searching the rails, Sue can often be found walking and looking after her friend’s lively Staffy, who makes sure she gets plenty of fresh air.
