Mather & Murray Financial Returns to Its Roots with Office Move to Cricklade

Local financial advice firm backs community-led regeneration project
Mather & Murray Financial, a well-established financial planning firm originally founded in Swindon, is proud to announce its move to a new office in the heart of Cricklade – a town close to our hearts.
Cricklade isn’t just our new business address – it’s where our story began. Both co-founders, Samuel Mather-Holgate and Steve Murray, live in Cricklade. Several of our support team and advisers also call Cricklade home. Relocating here felt like a natural next step for the business, as we continue to grow and support clients across Wiltshire and beyond.
Our new base sits in the former police station – now transformed as part of a vibrant community project spearheaded by the Cricklade Development Foundation. This local initiative has created a hub for small businesses and community groups, and we’re proud to be part of it.
It is especially delighting to share the space with one of the town’s newest gems, The Wild Fig Deli, located at the front of the building. With two flats above and our office to the rear, it’s a brilliant example of how community regeneration and local enterprise can work hand-in-hand.
Although most of our client meetings still take place in the comfort of their own homes or via Zoom, we now have a lovely, private meeting room for those who would prefer to see us in person. And for anyone visiting, grabbing a coffee from the deli before or after your appointment is always a treat!
With so many of our clients already based in and around Cricklade, it feels great to be home. We’re thrilled to be more rooted in the community. We are always looking to support even more local people with advice on mortgages, pensions, investments, insurance, and estate planning.
